Last year was wonderful with over 800 volunteers and more than 30 local churches all working together to make the Christmas Store a staple for the holiday season. More than 400 families enjoyed the Blessing of this event equating to almost 1,100 children who received presents on Christmas day.
Please Contact: Elizabeth Montgomery if you feel led to contribute to this wonderful experience or if you have any questions.
Angel Trees
In order to serve more families in need, the Christmas Store expanded in 2011, moving from dependence on partner churches and their congregation members to involvement from the general public. Through partnerships with local companies, Christmas Store Angel Trees were placed throughout the community. Anyone could take an angel from the tree, which identified an item to purchase to help stock The Christmas Store. Once the item was purchased, it was placed in a collection box at the same location as the Angel Tree.
Angel Trees continue to provide a way anyone from the public can support the Christmas Store. In 2012, you can find Angel Trees at the following community partner locations. Please consider visiting one of these locations to find an item you can contribute to the Christmas Store. Many children are counting on it!
